Job Title: Weight Loss Specialist Dietitian

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Dietitian Nutritionist to join our team at MultiCare Health System. As a Weight Loss Specialist Dietitian, you will play a critical role in providing comprehensive nutrition assessments and developing personalized nutrition plans for patients in our medical weight loss and wellness program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough nutrition assessments and develop complex nutrition prescriptions to support patient weight loss and overall health.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide coordinated care and ensure seamless transitions between healthcare services.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and evidence-based practices in nutrition and weight management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in food and nutrition, dietetics, or a related field.
  • Completion of an ACEND-accredited dietetic program and internship.
  • Current registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registry (CDR) in good standing.
  • Must have a National Provider Identifier (NPI) or obtain an NPI prior to employment start date.
  • Registered Dietitian with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
  • Current member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics or American Association of Nutrition.
  • Certified Dietitian in the state of Washington.
  • Certified Specialist in Obesity and Weight Management (CSOWM) preferred, or must obtain within two (2) years of hire.
  • Minimum one (1) year or more of in-patient or out-patient clinical nutrition experience providing medical nutrition therapy using the Nutrition Care Process.
  • Prior experience with adult obesity preferred.
