Job Summary

Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian 2 for a full-time year-round position at Gonzaga University in Spokane, WA. The successful candidate will be responsible for nutrition education and promotion of nutritional programs through presentations, social media, and other outreach efforts. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a college or university setting and possess strong presentation and public speaking skills.

Responsibilities
  • Manage student exemption requests, menus, and recipes to align with our Everyday App, menu system, and digital signage.
  • Support activities in resident dining showcasing our mindful program and participate in student education events in collaboration with the University health and wellness department.
  • Support cooking classes and nutritional education, operational excellence, and maintain high visibility during peak periods in resident dining.
  • Provide guidance, meal recommendations, and support to students who have dietary restrictions.
  • Promote nutritional awareness through newsletters, social media, sampling, and events.
  • Collaborate with operations teams to develop wellness programs and menus for resident dining, athletics, and retail locations.
  • Deliver presentations as needed to support client goals.
Requirements
  • Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.
  • Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice.
  • 1 year work experience in health care including hospitals, nursing homes, assisted or independent living facilities, long-term care, retirement homes, or clinics.
