Digital Sales Specialist

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced sales professional to join our advertising sales team. As a Digital and Event Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for actively prospecting for new business, consulting on digital and event advertising opportunities, proposals, closing sales, and managing accounts on an ongoing basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospect for new business through networking, phone calls, email, drop-ins, and social media.
- Understand the marketing objectives of clients through a consultative sales approach.
- Create and present customized digital and event marketing plans to clients.
- Closing new business and meeting or exceeding monthly sales goals.
- Manage relationships throughout the sales cycle, from initial contact through execution of client campaigns.
- Provide professional account management to ensure client retention.
- Stay up-to-date on digital and event advertising trends.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Previous experience in digital, events marketing, and sales is preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of social media, online display advertising, email marketing, branded content, search marketing, and website/landing page best practices.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Loyal, honest, high-energy, driven, strong work ethic, and good sense of humor.
- High competency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Cold calling mindset.
Compensation and Benefits:
- $40,000 base salary plus high commission.
