Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time position in a school setting. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality speech and language services to students, helping them overcome communication challenges and achieve their educational goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine students' speech and language needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and therapy goals.
  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students with various communication disorders.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students' communication and educational goals.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of students' IEP goals.
  • Monitor and evaluate students' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
  • Provide training and resources to school staff and families to support students' speech and language needs.
Requirements
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current state licensure or ability to obtain licensure in New York.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Previous experience in a school setting is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
