Job Summary:

Soliant is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our school-based team in Camden, DE. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in students, helping them achieve academic success and effective communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluation and Treatment: Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students, and develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's specific needs.
  • Therapy Sessions: Provide individual and group therapy sessions to enhance students' communication abilities, and monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support the integration of speech and language goals in the classroom and at home, and offer training and resources to teachers and parents on strategies to support students' speech and language development.
  • Professional Development: Stay current with the latest research, techniques, and best practices in the field of speech-language pathology, and participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to set, review, and update student goals and progress.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Licensure and Certification: Valid SLP license or certification in Delaware, and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA is preferred.
  • Experience: Experience working in a school setting is an advantage.
  • Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, and ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
