ROLE OVERVIEW
As a pivotal member of our team, the Food Service Operations Manager will report directly to the Director of Concessions and will be tasked with overseeing all operational aspects of our food service offerings, ensuring efficiency and profitability.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver high-quality service and products by adhering to safety and sanitation standards, while maintaining food service equipment.
- Conduct monthly inventory assessments and utilize inventory management systems effectively.
- Supervise scheduling and management of team members.
- Process weekly payroll and manage tip entries.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations regarding alcohol sales.
- Recruit and develop management staff in alignment with company standards.
- Collaborate with subcontractors to meet operational needs and uphold contractual agreements.
- Enhance existing programs and innovate new concepts to elevate food and service quality.
- Manage the operational budget, oversee monthly profit and loss statements, and ensure financial accuracy.
- Provide mentorship and leadership to the concessions team, executing the business plan effectively.
- Maintain cost efficiency related to labor and supplies, adhering to budgetary guidelines.
- Perform additional duties as required.
- A degree and 2-5 years of management experience in a high-volume food service environment, preferably within a sports and entertainment context.
- Experience in unionized settings is highly desirable.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven leadership skills and the ability to manage significant projects or initiatives.
- Customer service-oriented mindset with effective communication skills for engaging with employees, vendors, and guests.
- Flexibility to work extended hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Team-oriented with a collaborative approach.
- Familiarity with accounting policies and POS systems is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to obtain and maintain relevant alcohol certification.
- Experience with inventory management systems is a plus.

WORKING CONDITIONS
This position requires the ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, lifting, and carrying. Vision capabilities include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
