Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Construction Project Manager to oversee all aspects of commercial construction projects from inception to completion. This role requires a strong leader with excellent organizational skills and a focus on maintaining project schedules, budgets, and client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor project teams, including subcontractors and laborers, ensuring effective collaboration and communication.
  • Budget Management: Prepare and manage project budgets, monitor expenses, and implement cost control measures.
  • Scheduling: Create and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of milestones and deliverables.
  • Client Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing concerns and providing updates on project progress.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all work meets industry standards, safety regulations, and client specifications.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present regular project updates to stakeholders, including status reports and financial summaries.
  • Compliance: Ensure all projects adhere to local, state, and federal regulations and industry best practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the commercial construction industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • PMP certification is a plus.
