Branch Manager Opportunity at NorthEast Electrical

NorthEast Electrical, a subsidiary of Sonepar USA, is seeking an exceptional Branch Manager to lead our New London, CT location. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and ensuring operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct and manage the sales activities of inside and counter sales personnel.
  • Supervise and manage all activities of the branch personnel, including inventory management and customer service.
  • Interface with the outside sales department to ensure coordinated efforts.
  • Analyze customer needs and ensure NorthEast's products and services meet those needs, emphasizing our digital capabilities.
  • Develop and maintain a strong account base, making calls on potential and underachieving customers.
  • Participate in on-going training for digital tools and develop an annual plan and budget for the branch.
  • Review monthly reports to ensure adherence to branch budgets.
  • Hire, develop, and train new employees, reviewing performance for all branch staff.
  • Ensure the company obtains an equitable return on accounts receivable and inventory assets.
  • Participate in marketing efforts and provide information on planning, pricing, people, and product.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent knowledge through job-related experience and training.
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of industry and product knowledge.
  • Strong computer skills, with emphasis on website navigation.
  • Ability to manage the work of others and drive sales growth.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
