AccessAbilities, Inc. is seeking a skilled Behavior Consultant to join our team of professionals dedicated to providing exceptional services to individuals with developmental disabilities.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Behavior Consultant to work closely with our team to provide behavior management services in accordance with 460iac. The ideal candidate will have a master's degree in a relevant field, experience working with the Medicaid Waiver, and a proven track record of producing results.

Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload of individuals, including staying within the contract hours and meeting the billable hours requirement.
  • Complete assessments, observations, Behavior Support Plans, and reports in a timely and thorough manner.
  • Train Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) and families on Behavior Support Plans.

Requirements
  • A master's degree in clinical psychology, counseling psychology, school psychology, or another applied health service area of psychology, applied behavior analysis, special education, social work, or counseling.
  • Experience working with the Medicaid Waiver.
  • Willingness to drive to and throughout the Lafayette area, and hold sessions in-person.
  • Obtain 10 CEUs per year.
  • Willingness to work evenings as necessary to meet the needs of the individuals.
  • The ability to collaborate with local agencies and co-workers.
  • Professionalism, including the ability to build rapport, collaborate and handle difficult situations with the clinical team and family.
  • Have an acceptable driving record and valid auto insurance coverage.
