We are seeking an experienced Tour Guide Ambassador to join our team at Holland America Line Careers in Alaska. As a Tour Guide Ambassador, you will have the unique opportunity to drive a motorcoach and provide narrated tours to guests while ensuring their safety and satisfaction.

With a strong focus on customer service, you will be responsible for performing various tasks such as driving, navigating through challenging terrain, and providing information about local attractions and points of interest. You will also be required to maintain Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration regulations and ensure a safe working environment.

In this role, you will work closely with other team members to provide exceptional customer experiences and promote our company's values. Your ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work independently will be essential in this position.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Job Requirements:
  • You must be physically fit and able to lift up to 55 pounds (25 kg) occasionally.
  • You must pass a pre-employment background check and obtain any necessary certifications or permits.
  • A minimum age of 18 years is required to reside in company-provided housing, if applicable.
  • You will participate in our sustainability program and efforts to reduce waste and educate guests about our commitment to the environment.
  • You will contribute to a safe working environment by adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Excellent customer service skills and a dedication to delivering outstanding experiences are essential.
Key Skills & Abilities:
  • You should be able to organize and prioritize tasks effectively, manage time constraints, and work collaboratively with others.
  • You will be able to work independently with minimal supervision and achieve daily goals.
  • You should be able to stand/walk/work on your feet for extended periods, typically over 8 hours per day.
