     Job Summary

  This position is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and narrating tours while driving a motorcoach. As a Driver Guide, you will be the ambassador of Holland America-Princess Alaska-Yukon Land Operations, showcasing the breathtaking beauty of Alaska and Yukon. This role requires a deep understanding of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMSCA) Regulations and the ability to safely operate a motorcoach while engaging with passengers.

     Responsibilities
  •   Perform a variety of customer service and driving tasks, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all passengers.
  •   Apply knowledge of FMSCA Regulations through required documents maintained daily.
  •   Drive a motorcoach and provide narrated tours, sharing the history, fun facts, and rugged beauty of Alaska and Yukon.
  •   Perform inspections on vehicles and basic mechanical duties, ensuring the highest level of safety and maintenance.
  •   Apply knowledge of the area to provide information to passengers, enhancing their experience and creating memorable moments.
     Requirements
  •   Must hold a current, valid U.S. driver's license for a minimum of 3 years, with a clean driving record that meets company safety standards.
  •   Must meet Company's clean driver eligibility requirements.
  •   Current, valid Commercial Driver's License, Class B with a passenger endorsement and airbrakes required (may be obtained through Company training course).
  •   Must be certified as physically qualified through a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug screen, and participate in the Company's random drug testing program.
  •   Minimum age of 21 is required for your CDL.
  •   Must be able to lift 55 lbs/25 kg.
  •   Must pass a pre-employment background check.
     Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  •   Ability to safely drive a motorcoach while speaking to passengers, answering questions, and providing narration.
  •   Ability to organize and prioritize work, and maintain attention to time constraints, while working in a team or group environment.
  •   Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks and external influences.
  •   Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while achieving daily goals.
