Astound Broadband Powered by Wave is seeking a dedicated Supervisor for our Installation Technician team. This role is pivotal in ensuring exceptional service delivery and operational efficiency within our technical operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the installation and service technician teams, ensuring they meet performance and quality standards.
  • Coordinate daily workloads and provide guidance and support to technicians engaged in installation and maintenance tasks.
  • Conduct quality control checks, audits, and diagnostic assessments to maintain service excellence.
  • Oversee the troubleshooting and repair of voice and data systems, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Facilitate the installation and maintenance of network interface devices and backup power systems.
  • Monitor technician performance, conducting evaluations and providing constructive feedback.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all operations.
  • Promote company services and educate customers on product offerings and proper equipment usage.
  • Maintain and secure tools and vehicles assigned to the service department.
  • Implement preventative maintenance programs to enhance service reliability.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the cable, internet, or voice service industry.
  • At least 2-3 years of supervisory experience in a related field.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and mentor staff effectively.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting complex systems and addressing technical issues.
  • Knowledge of safety standards and regulatory compliance.

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications preferred.
