Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessing dispatch processes to pinpoint training requirements and suggesting enhancements to guarantee prompt dispatch in both logistics and storage.
  • Evaluating expenditures to maintain budgetary compliance, as indicated by weekly and monthly financial reports, including managing production standards and overtime to meet fiscal objectives.
  • Collaborating with Human Resources on all aspects of logistics personnel management, encompassing recruitment, onboarding, training, terminations, disciplinary actions, and performance evaluations in accordance with regulatory standards.
  • Coordinating the allocation and upkeep of all logistics equipment, including vehicles and trailers, ensuring adherence to safety regulations and company policies.
  • Executing additional responsibilities as needed to fulfill business objectives.

Qualifications:

  • In-depth knowledge of federal and state regulations relevant to transportation.
  • A minimum of three years of relevant experience, preferably within the Food Service sector.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
