Job Overview

POSITION SUMMARY

Southeastern Food Merchandisers LP is actively seeking skilled Class A CDL Shuttle Operators. Our operations focus on consistent route schedules that ensure you return home each day; there is no long-haul driving involved. Our structured schedules allow for daily departures and returns to the same terminal. Our fleet is entirely leased and serviced by Penske, with all vehicles featuring automatic transmissions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Transport both empty and loaded trailers from the home base to designated locations.
  • Conduct all necessary safety inspections (i.e., pre/post trip), including thorough checks of the tractor/truck and trailer in compliance with DOT regulations.
  • Adhere to all DOT guidelines and internal safety protocols.
  • Promptly report any safety concerns to the Transportation Supervisor.
