Our educational model integrates coursework in business, technology, science, mathematics, and language arts with hands-on application labs in business, maritime, and culinary environments.

Students concentrate on foundational academic and character development in their 9th and 10th grades, followed by an in-house internship in 11th grade and an external apprenticeship in their 12th-grade year.

Notably, every student embarks on a 7-week international sailing expedition aboard a 100' school ship, traveling across the Caribbean and North/South America to lead service projects, manage responsibilities onboard, and broaden their perspectives for personal growth.

Position: Student Support Intervention Coordinator
SailFuture Academy is seeking an enthusiastic and relatable leader to inspire and assist students in a project-based high school setting.

We invite applications for two full-time Student Support Intervention Coordinators. This hybrid role involves driving the school bus in the morning and afternoon, in addition to supporting students throughout the school day.

The Student Support Intervention Coordinators will play a vital role in the effective implementation of the school’s curriculum, processes, and procedures.

The ideal candidates will engage students who may temporarily disengage from class or require a moment to refocus their attention.


Key Responsibilities:


- Monday to Friday, 7 AM - 4 PM
- Driving a school bus for student pick-up and drop-off each day
- Ensuring a safe and supportive classroom environment, both physically and emotionally
- Helping students adhere to community standards within the classroom and the broader community
- Creating opportunities for students to learn from their mistakes to enhance their mastery of key objectives
- Providing real-time, constructive feedback to foster student growth
- Offering individualized insights during term-end review meetings
- Effectively working with teens in one-on-one settings
- Establishing meaningful relationships and building trust with students to improve their behavior, academic performance, and social interactions

Compensation:
- $15-$20 per hour, depending on experience
- Payment for CDL certification course
