We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Caregiver Medication Assistant to join our team at New Perspective Senior Living LLC. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality of care and services for our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Medication Administration: Accurately dispense, pass, and document medications in the Medication Administration Record (MAR), adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Resident Care: Assist residents with self-administration of medications, personal care, and activities of daily living, such as eating, drinking, walking, and transferring.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of resident care, including communication logs and incident reports.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the nursing team to ensure seamless care delivery and effective communication.
- Quality Assurance: Participate in quality assurance initiatives to ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalency required.
- Experience: Previous experience as a Med Passer or in a similar role is required.
- Skills: Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language; ability to handle multiple priorities and tasks; ability to make decisions and act in the resident's best interest.
- Certifications: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience working with seniors is preferred.
