Adult Inpatient Behavioral Health Nurse - RN Role SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Adult Inpatient Behavioral Health Nurse - RN to join our team. As a member of our nursing staff, you will provide high-quality care to patients with various mental health needs. Your expertise will be invaluable in ensuring efficient patient flow and effective treatment outcomes.
Job Responsibilities:- Contribute to quality nursing care through process improvement techniques and multidisciplinary collaboration.
- Manage efficient patient flow, including screening, preparation for exam, general nursing care, and arranging testing and admissions.
- Instruct patients and families on medication and treatment instructions.
- Maintain and review patient records, posting test results and examination findings.
- Administer medications according to physician orders.
- Apply knowledge of patient age-specific development and cultural diversity into the plan of care.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification within 30 days of employment start date.
- Registered Nurse licensure.
- Associate Degree in Nursing.
