About the Role
At Dominion Hospital, we're seeking an exceptional Psychiatric Registered Nurse to join our dedicated team. As a key member of our staff, you'll be instrumental in providing top-notch care to our patients.
Job Summary
The ideal candidate will possess excellent clinical expertise and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care. You'll work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient flow and effective communication.
Your Responsibilities
- You'll contribute to quality nursing care through process improvement techniques and collaboration that demonstrates positive outcomes in the delivery of patient care.
- You'll manage efficient patient flow, including screening, preparation for exam, general nursing care, and arranging or testing and admissions.
- You'll instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions.
- You'll maintain and review patients' records, including posting tests and examination results.
- You'll administer medications in accordance with physician orders.
- You'll incorporate knowledge of patient's age-specific development and cultural diversity into the plan of care.
Requirements
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Registered Nurse
- Associate Degree
