Career Opportunities

We are currently seeking an Adolescent Inpatient Clinical Nurse Coordination Specialist to join our team.

This role plays a vital part in ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care and coordination of all functions in the unit/department during the designated shift.

The successful candidate will work closely with other members of the management team to direct, monitor, and evaluate nursing care in accordance with established policies/procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high-quality patient-centered care.
  • Participate in ongoing assessments of patient care services provided in the unit, collaborating with other management team members.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and other managers to create an environment of teamwork that supports improved outcomes and service.
  • Support a patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when necessary.
  • Operationalize current nursing strategies, including employee rounding, hourly rounds, and other initiatives to improve engagement.
  • Recommend and implement courses of action related to interviewing, selecting, and training new staff, as well as personnel policy compliance, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions.
  • Manage practical aspects of staff labor in accordance with patient care needs and established productivity guidelines.

Qualifications

  • BLS certification required within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification required within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Registered Nurse licensure.
