Administrative Duties:
- Welcome visitors, residents, and vendors in a professional and courteous manner, directing them to the appropriate locations.
- Answer incoming calls, assess the nature of inquiries, and route calls to the relevant personnel or departments.
- Respond to internal requests, identifying and locating the necessary staff members.
- Maintain accurate resident information, including names, room numbers, and emergency contact details.
- Ensure confidentiality and privacy are upheld when handling sensitive information.
- Recognize security issues and report them to the supervisor or appropriate authorities.
- Assist with various administrative tasks such as typing, filing, sorting mail, and ordering supplies.
- Maintain a clean and professional work environment.
- Document and address concerns or relay them to the appropriate staff as necessary.
- Conduct small monetary transactions responsibly.
- Participate in training programs to comply with state and federal regulations.
Must demonstrate the ability to make independent decisions, follow directions, and accept constructive feedback. Strong interpersonal skills are essential for interacting with residents, families, and the public. Proficiency in English is required for effective communication.
Education and Experience:
A high school diploma or GED is preferred. Experience in a clerical role or completion of a secretarial program is advantageous.
Physical Requirements:
