Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Patient Care Tech to join our team at Methodist Health System. As a Patient Care Tech, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to our patients and families.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and feeding patients as needed.
  • Assist patients with mobility, including turning, lifting, and moving patients safely.
  • Administer medications and treatments as directed by nursing staff.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to nursing staff.
  • Assist with patient admissions, discharges, and transfers.
  • Participate in patient education and support.
  • Collaborate with nursing staff to develop and implement patient care plans.
Requirements
  • Graduate from a certified nursing assistant program or certified medical assistant program.
  • 1 year experience as a nursing assistant in a comparable healthcare facility.
  • Nursing student who documents completion of the first semester of the Nursing Program.
  • Documented military experience as a medic/corpsman.
  • Foreign Nursing graduate not currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the U.S.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certification of successful completion of Certified Nursing Assistant Program.
  • Healthcare Provider CPR certification.
Work Environment

This position requires working indoors in a fast-paced healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a team setting and provide excellent patient care.
