Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Speech Pathologist to join our team at University Hospitals. As a key member of our rehabilitation team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective treatment plans to help patients overcome speech, language, and swallowing disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify patient needs and develop personalized treatment plans
  • Lead patient participation in activities to enhance and restore speech, language, and swallowing abilities
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and discharge planning
  • Provide education and support to patients, families, and caregivers on health information, treatment, and prevention
  • Perform administrative tasks, including documentation and billing, to support department operations
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
  • Current licensure and certification in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
