Job Description

Role Summary

The Classroom Teacher - Fixed Term position is a critical role in our school's academic team. As a Classroom Teacher, you will be responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering high-quality educational programs to achieve specific student outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse student needs
  • Assess and evaluate student progress, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to address them
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices, resources, and expertise
  • Participate in school-wide initiatives and programs to enhance student learning and well-being

Requirements

  • Provisional or full registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching
  • Qualifications and experience in teaching and/or curriculum area specified for the position
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Commitment to ongoing professional learning and development
