Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Refinish Specialist to join our team at Rochester Collision Center.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for reconditioning vehicles to the highest standards, ensuring they meet or exceed customer expectations.

Responsibilities
  • Perform thorough exterior inspections to identify appearance concerns.
  • Compile detailed estimates of needed repairs and present them to the Used Car Manager for approval.
  • Carry out necessary repair and maintenance work to ensure vehicles are reconditioned to the desired level.
  • Maintain accurate daily work sheets.
  • Promote a clean and organized workspace, with equipment, tools, and supplies properly stored.
Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required (a technical degree is preferred).
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • The ability to learn new technologies and procedures.
  • A strong team player with attention to detail.
  • The ability to buff paint is highly desirable.
  • A valid state driver's license and insurance through RMC liability insurance are mandatory.
Physical Demands
  • Operate hand tools and machinery.
  • Position body parts to perform vehicle maintenance.
  • Walk car lots to inspect vehicles.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer competitive compensation and benefits, including medical, dental, paid time-off, STD/LTD, 401k, and life insurance for full-time employees.

$62,000 - $82,000 per year, based on experience.
