Job DescriptionJob Summary:

BrightStar Care of Asheville, NC is seeking a compassionate and reliable Caregiver to provide in-home care for seniors and older adults in the Asheville area. As a Caregiver, you will be responsible for assisting clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and ambulation, as well as accompanying them to appointments and providing emotional support.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with personal care activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Accompany clients to appointments, such as doctor visits and grocery shopping
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to clients
  • Assist clients with light housekeeping and meal preparation
  • Document client progress and report any changes to the Director of Nursing
Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum one (1) year of experience as a caregiver or home health aide
  • Certified CPR and negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
  • Licensed driver with insured and reliable automobile
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
