Role Responsibilities

As a Regional Account Executive (Healthcare) at A Place for Mom, you will represent our organization to hospitals and skilled nursing facilities within your designated area, facilitating the transition of families being discharged from these facilities. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Engaging in a dynamic, fast-paced environment to assist families and professional referral sources in finding suitable senior care options for seniors requiring urgent discharge from healthcare facilities.
  • Achieving monthly targets by generating qualified patient referrals from your assigned accounts.
  • Maintaining and expanding a portfolio of clients, including social workers, case managers, and discharge planners within your territory.
  • Building and nurturing relationships with new contacts through networking, outreach calls, and service presentations, while following up on discharge outcomes to demonstrate the value A Place for Mom provides.
  • Educating families about their care options and collaborating with Healthcare Senior Living Advisors to facilitate smooth transitions into appropriate senior living solutions.
  • Utilizing CRM tools to manage your pipeline effectively and analyze reports to drive results.
  • Testing and providing feedback on new initiatives and processes to enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of two years of outside sales experience with a proven ability in prospecting and lead generation.
  • Familiarity with the Senior Living Industry.
  • Experience in sales within hospitals or skilled nursing facilities.
  • Demonstrated success in exceeding sales targets and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with a strategic approach.
  • Proficient in presenting to target audiences and adept at overcoming objections.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, independent work environment with a proactive mindset.
  • Willingness to travel locally within your territory.
  • Excellent communication skills with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.
  • Technologically proficient, especially in Microsoft Office, Google Sheets, and CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).
Additional Information

Work Schedule

  • Daily fieldwork, collaborating with your Regional Director to develop and execute your account strategy.
  • Engagements will include scheduled presentations, follow-up calls, and spontaneous visits to connect with case managers, discharge planners, and patients.

Compensation

  • Base Salary: $90,000
  • On Target Earnings: $125,000+ (Uncapped)
  • Benefits include 401(k) with matching, dental, health, and vision insurance, and paid time off.
