About the RoleWe are looking for a dedicated and compassionate individual to support our endocrinology team. As a Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient patient flow, assisting with office visits, and performing clinically appropriate tasks related to patient panel management.
Responsibilities- Ensure smooth patient check-in and registration processes
- Assist with physical exams, procedures, and treatments as directed by providers
- Perform tasks related to patient panel management, including phone calls, test results, and prescription refills
- Maintain clean and organized patient care areas
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- BLS or Annual Manikin training within 6 months of hire
- Preferred: Medical Assistant Course or diploma program, or at least 1 year of professional experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
