We are seeking a Medical Assistant II to support our Endocrinology and Diabetes practice at Cooley Dickinson Health Care, an affiliate of Mass General Brigham. Our team is dedicated to advancing healthcare in western Massachusetts.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will work autonomously to the top of their education/certification, while functioning as part of a collaborative team. Responsibilities include ensuring efficient patient flow through the office, assisting during office visits, performing clinically appropriate tasks related to patient panel management, maintaining neat and clean patient care areas, and interacting with patients and their families in a professional manner.

Salary and Benefits

We offer competitive salaries and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and employee assistance programs. The estimated salary for this role is between $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • High School diploma/GED required; Medical Assistant Course or diploma program or minimum 1 year professional experience preferred;
  • National MA Certification via AAMA, AMT, NHA, or NCCT strongly preferred;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team;
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
Bonus Opportunity

New, full-time Medical Assistant employees are eligible for a one-time, taxable bonus of $750.00 to be paid out after the successful completion of the first 90 days of employment.

Role Overview

This is a full-time, 40-hour position supporting our Endocrinology and Diabetes practice onsite, Monday through Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm. As a Medical Assistant II, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with our nurses and providers to deliver high-quality patient care.
