Key Responsibilities- Take patient vital signs and prepare patients for examinations or treatments
- Perform venipunctures and administer routine medications under the supervision of a licensed physician
- Document patient information accurately and efficiently
- Administer basic first aid and participate in performance improvement projects
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, staff, and other customers
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- 1-year medical assistant experience preferred
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification required within 6 months
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at time of hire
