Role Summary

As a Conference Services Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless execution of meetings and conferences. This position involves collaborating with clients, vendors, and team members to deliver outstanding service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage incoming calls and assist clients with reservations
  • Maintain accurate records in the database
  • Oversee the planning and setup of the conference center
  • Facilitate effective communication with departments including Conference Services, Catering, and Audio Visual
  • Inspect conference rooms prior to client arrival
  • Ensure room arrangements meet client specifications
  • Set up Audio Visual equipment according to client requirements
  • Finalize planning details with clients and communicate with all relevant departments
  • Provide business center services as needed
  • Generate end-of-day reports
Preferred Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma/GED required; Associate degree in hospitality management or related field preferred
  • Experience in event or meeting planning within a conference services setting
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Outlook
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with excellent problem-solving abilities
  • Outstanding customer service skills
