Position Overview: As a Security Patrol Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe and secure environment for both customers and colleagues. Your duties will include patrolling the premises, monitoring activities, and conducting search procedures.

Work Schedule: This is a full-time position with shifts from Thursday to Monday, 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM.

Compensation: The starting hourly wage for this position is $15.50.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Authorize and monitor the entry and exit of employees, visitors, and other individuals to prevent theft and ensure the safety of the premises.
  • Engage with visitors, patrons, and staff to maintain order and protect property.
  • Conduct regular patrols of industrial or commercial areas to deter safety hazards, theft, violence, or rule violations.
  • Enforce company policies and respond to emergency situations requiring security intervention.
  • Provide escort services for individuals as needed, ensuring their safety during transport.
  • Prepare detailed reports and maintain daily activity logs.
  • Assist customers, employees, and visitors with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Monitor for any irregular or suspicious activities.
  • Secure designated areas and enforce facility policies.
  • Investigate incidents and compile reports as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in a security role.
  • Reliable transportation is required.
  • Strong communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
  • Capable of navigating stairs regularly.
  • Ability to remain calm and think clearly during high-pressure situations.
  • Dependable, with a positive attitude and a commitment to ethical conduct.
