Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Security Operations: Directly supervise and coordinate the activities of Security Officers and/or First Responders on assigned shifts, ensuring that all security protocols and procedures are followed.
  • Represent the Property: Act as a representative of Harlow's Casino Resort & Spa, interacting with guests and team members in a courteous and professional manner, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience for all.
  • Train and Develop Team Members: Train, schedule, supervise, and evaluate Security Officers on assigned shifts, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties effectively.
  • Recruitment and Selection: Assist the department head with recruitment efforts, including interviewing and selecting candidates for Security Officer positions.
  • Incident Reporting and Documentation: Patrol the property on assigned shifts, identifying potential security and/or safety hazards, and report same to the appropriate individual to ensure the safety and protection of guests and team members. Document incident reports and other relevant information as required.
  • Support Daily Operations: Assist in the daily operations of the Security Department, providing support and guidance to team members as needed.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a security or law enforcement role, with supervisory experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people.
  • Ability to work a varied schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
