Portsmouth Regional Hospital is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse RN to join our team as a Cardiac Catheterization Nurse Specialist. About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization procedures. This includes assessing patient needs, administering medications, and coordinating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.

Salary Information
The salary for this position is estimated to be around $95,000 per year, based on national averages for similar roles in the Portsmouth, NH area.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide assessment and care of patients undergoing transesophageal echo (TEE), cardioversions, and cardiac and vascular procedures.
- Recognize and respond to cardiac emergencies, utilizing knowledge of normal anatomy and physiology of the cardiovascular system.
- Administer safe medication to cardiac patients and adhere to department standards for documenting patient care.
- Educate patients and families on post-procedure care and provide discharge planning.

Requirements
- BLS and ACLS certifications within 30 days of employment start date.
- Valid NH Licensed Registered Nurse or compact state RN License.
- Associates degree from an accredited school of nursing.
- At least 1 year of Cath Lab RN experience preferred.
