Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced RN with 18 months of nursing experience to join our team. As a Medical Leader, you'll provide clinical leadership for the delivery of nursing care in the department, under the direction of the Department Manager. Your responsibilities will include leading safety and quality initiatives, focusing on simplifying workflow, and contributing to staff development.

About the Role

This is a 24-bed Medical-Surgical Cardiac Stroke Unit where we care for patients at a med-surg level of care with telemetry monitoring. Our patient population reflects a variety of diagnoses, including cardiac care such as heart failure, stable myocardial infarction, chest pain, and patients requiring cardiac diagnostic testing. You'll work collaboratively with IMC, ICU, and our stroke navigator to ensure seamless care.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A BSN degree (Master's degree preferred)
  • At least 18 months of nursing experience
  • BLS certification within 90 days of hire
  • Professional Specialty Nursing Certification (preferred)

Compensation

The estimated annual salary for this position is $85,000-$110,000, depending on experience.
