Job Summary

Dewberry is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Engineer to join our Water Resources team in Denver, CO. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and managing stormwater systems, as well as performing hydrologic and hydraulic analyses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design constructible solutions to stormwater problems using AutoCAD Civil 3D and other drafting programs.
  • Model and assess the performance of urban drainage and stormwater infrastructure using PCSWMM/EPA SWMM5 and other stormwater models.
  • Assist with construction observation of ongoing design projects and perform hydrologic and 1D/2D hydraulic analyses for modeling and mapping floodplains.
  • Develop flood risk products and perform flood risk assessments to assist in mitigation and resiliency planning.
  • Plan and coordinate all aspects of small to medium size projects, including supervising staff assigned to the project.
Requirements
  • BS or MS Degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering or related field.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of hydrology and open channel hydraulics.
  • Experience working in Civil 3D, PCSWMM/EPA SWMM5, and ESRI ArcGIS/QGIS.
