About the RoleThe Midwestern Auto Group (MAG) is seeking a highly skilled Service Advisor to join our team. As a Service Advisor, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that our clients receive top-notch service experience.
About UsMAG is the world's largest group of European brands, with 14 brands on our 65-acre campus. Our product line-up includes Audi, Bentley, BMW, Ferrari, Jaguar, Lamborghini, Land Rover, Lotus, Maserati, Mini, Porsche, Rolls-Royce, VW, and Volvo.
We offer a competitive salary of $55,000 per year, plus commission based pay, medical, dental and vision benefits, life, short-term, and long-term disability coverage, paid time off: vacation, holidays, and sick time, 401K with company match up to 4%, discounted manufacturers' lease programs, service and parts discounts, flexible work schedules, including no late evenings, day off during the week, and NO work on Sundays.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers promptly and obtain their information
- Clearly report all vehicle symptoms as described by the customer
- Determine the customer's service needs and recommend necessary maintenance based on age, mileage, and vehicle history
- Prepare complete and accurate estimates of cost for labor and parts
- Monitor the progress of each vehicle throughout the day and update customers frequently
- Verify that final invoices match work performed on the repair order
- Increase customer satisfaction by building strong customer relationships
- Maintain company standards for ethical business practices, professional image, orderliness, customer service, and community relations
- Maximize sales and execute retail promotions to increase profitability
Qualifications
- Prior experience as a service advisor or service writer is preferred
- Above-average phone and communication skills are required
- A positive, upbeat attitude and ability to upsell clients are essential
- Excellent follow-up and follow-through skills are necessary to ensure client satisfaction
- Ability to communicate technical information in non-technical terms to clients
