About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Personal Lines Account Manager to join our team at Petschauer Insurance. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients and providing exceptional service to ensure their insurance needs are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Market new business and determine premiums
  • Prepare and present professional proposals to clients
  • Maintain underwriting and marketing information by carrier
  • Round out existing accounts with additional lines of business and upgraded coverages
  • Advise clients of coverage gaps identified
  • Handle correspondence from clients, prospects, and companies regarding insurance coverage, claims, or administrative problems
  • Assist in development and training of other Associate Account Executives
  • Demonstrate effective and efficient use of Epic agency management system
Requirements
  • High School Diploma (or equivalent)
  • Property & Casualty (NY) license
  • Associate's Degree (preferred)
  • Experience with Epic and PL Rater management systems (will train if experience with another agency management system)
