Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Athletic Trainer to join our team at Tulane University Staff. The successful candidate will assist with all aspects of our Sports Medicine Program, with a focus on outreach and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the development and implementation of outreach programs to promote the Sports Medicine Program and enhance community relationships.
  • Work closely with coaches, athletes, and other stakeholders to provide exceptional support and services.
  • Collaborate with the Sports Medicine team to ensure seamless delivery of services and programs.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local schools and organizations to promote the program and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Provide emergency management of athletic injuries and communicate effectively with physicians, coaches, athletes, parents, and peers.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including NATABOC Certification and Louisiana LSBME Licensure.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Prior experience as an Athletic Trainer is highly desirable.
