Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sanitation Technician to join our team at In-N-Out Burger. As a key member of our commissary plant team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary environment for our food processing operations.

Responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitize commissary plant equipment, including large food processing equipment and chemical handling areas.
  • Operate sanitation equipment, such as pressure washers, to ensure a clean and safe working environment.
  • Wash and sanitize all commissary plant property, including meat crates and blue plastic pallets/crates.
  • Clean and sanitize food processing equipment, roof, fans, ceilings, walls, and floors using specific procedures as directed.
  • Monitor and document chemical concentrations to ensure proper cleaning of equipment.
  • Assist in reassembling equipment when necessary.
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures at all times.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • One (1) year experience working in a meat facility or similar responsibilities.
  • One (1) year Sanitation or Janitorial experience, preferably in a food processing plant.
  • Ability to read chemical labels and follow safe handling procedures for all chemicals used in cleaning activities.
Work Schedule and Benefits
  • Full-time position, Hourly (non-exempt).
  • Pay Range: $23-$23.50 per hour.
  • Hours: 4:00 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.; some overtime as needed (start times may vary).
  • 5 nights per week, rotating schedule and alternating days off.
  • Weekend and holiday availability required.
