Sanitation Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Sanitation Technician to join our team at In-N-Out Burger's Lathrop, CA warehouse. As a key member of our Meat Processing Department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation in our commissary plant.

• Cleaning and Sanitizing Equipment: Directly responsible for cleaning and sanitizing the commissary plant equipment, including large food processing equipment, using chemicals and proper cleaning procedures.
• Operation of Sanitation Equipment: Responsible for operating sanitation equipment such as the pressure washer, ensuring efficient and effective cleaning processes.
• Washing and Sanitizing Property: Wash and sanitize all commissary plant property using proper cleaning procedures, meeting both In-N-Out Burger and USDA standards.
• Cleaning Meat Crates and Pallets: Clean meat crates and blue plastic pallets/crates, ensuring a clean and safe environment for food processing.
• Monitoring Chemical Concentrations: Monitor and document chemical concentrations to ensure proper cleaning of equipment, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
• Assisting with Equipment Reassembly: Assist in reassembling equipment when necessary, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
• Following Safety Policies: Follow all safety policies and procedures at all times, prioritizing the well-being of yourself and your colleagues.

• Full-time Position: Full-time position, hourly (non-exempt), with a competitive salary and comprehensive benefit package.
• Pay Range: Pay range: $23-$23.50 per hour, with opportunities for growth and advancement.
• Hours and Schedule: Work 4:00 p.m. to 12:30 a.m., with some overtime as needed, and a rotating schedule with alternating days off.

• Education: High school diploma or GED.
• Experience: One (1) year experience working in a meat facility or similar responsibilities, and one (1) year sanitation or janitorial experience, preferably in a food processing plant.
• Skills: Ability to read chemical labels and follow safe handling procedures for all chemicals used in cleaning activities.

• Lifting and Climbing: Ability to lift a minimum of 70 lbs. and climb tall ladders, with no fear of heights.
• Environmental Conditions: Willingness to work in an environment that is wet, damp, and humid, with temperature changes from hot to cold, and occasional work assignments in temperatures as low as 34 degrees Fahrenheit.
• Physical Abilities: Position requires frequent lifting, standing, reaching, climbing, pulling, stooping, bending, and kneeling, with constant mental focus and awareness of surroundings.
