Sanitation Technician

California Natural Products is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Sanitation Technician to join our team. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of our production environment.

• Janitorial Services: Clean and maintain restrooms, toilets, sinks, walls, floors, and dispose of garbage.
• Equipment Operation: Operate mobile foamer units, hot hoses, and sanitizer units.
• Chemical Handling: Safely handle industrial-style detergents and sanitizers.
• Drain Sanitation: Clean and maintain trench drains inside and outside the facility.
• Facility Maintenance: Perform tasks related to facility maintenance, including cleaning yellow employee walkways and rails, floors, and parking lots.
• Environmental Monitoring: Participate in the Environmental Monitoring program to prevent and address Listeria and Salmonella.

• Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required. Industrial sanitation experience preferred.
• Chemical Safety Knowledge: General knowledge of chemical safety and handling preferred.
• Equipment Operation: Experience operating forklifts and aerial lifts preferred.

• Safety: Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to safety protocols.
• Job Knowledge: Demonstrate technical proficiency and complete tasks accurately.

Frequently exposed to wet and varying temperature conditions, loud noise, vibration, moving machinery/electrical parts, risk of electrical shock, airborne particles, high/precarious places, toxic/caustic chemicals, allergens, and fumes from food processing equipment.
