The full-time Auction Operations Associate role is essential to our auction processes at Retail Rebel. In this position, you will be engaged in tasks such as assembling and relocating pallets, performing repetitive lifting of items weighing up to 40 lbs or more, assisting with team lifts, preparing for auction events, facilitating customer pickups, and contributing to various administrative and departmental tasks as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver outstanding customer service to auction clientele.
  • Evaluate and/or price assorted merchandise and apparel based on type, condition, and auction value.
  • Label individual auction items and palletized goods.
  • Assist customers with loading their purchases.
  • Ensure a clean and safe working environment.
  • Support POS transactions as necessary.
  • Perform additional supportive tasks as assigned.

COMPENSATION:
  • Hourly wage: $ per hour based on experience.
  • Work Schedule: 40 hours per week. Shifts may vary from Monday to Wednesday between 7:00 AM and 4:00 PM, with a set schedule on Thursday from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM and Friday from 7:00 AM to 6:30 PM.
Requirements

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES:
  • Ability to operate a pallet jack and other material handling equipment; training will be provided.
  • Familiarity with various retail merchandise types and their values.
  • Bilingual candidates are preferred.
  • Experience with POS systems and cash handling.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Sales experience is preferred.
  • Commitment to teamwork and collaboration.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
  • Prolonged periods of standing and/or sitting during shifts.
  • Exposure to varying indoor and outdoor environments.
  • Fast-paced workplace with moderate noise levels.
  • Occasional bending, stooping, and kneeling at checkout areas.
  • Potential use of equipment such as box cutters, bin containers, two-wheel dollies, and pallet jacks.
