Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and modifying complex accounting models, collaborating with team members on general ledger responsibilities, and creating financial transaction requests for the Government's Financial Management System Technical Team. Additionally, the contractor will develop and modify financial instructions, policies, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to support the Government's financial processes.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee financial projects with strategic integration of business solutions.
  • Assist the government with financial management operations.
  • Monitor and coordinate program resource allocations.
  • Support government representatives at meetings.
  • Lead research and stakeholder interviews to document requirements, business processes, and data challenges.
  • Perform in-depth analysis to understand business processes, data inputs, and potential solutions.
  • Coordinate and participate in system engineering and technical exchange meetings.
  • Coordinate and participate in milestone events, including requirement reviews and program management reviews.
Experience
  • Minimum 5 years' experience improving data integrity, internal controls, and financial reporting for PP&E.
  • Experience related to General Ledger (GL) and financial transaction analysis.
  • Experience in financial statement compilation, audit, and auditability efforts.
  • Strong Excel skills, with focus on pivot tables, formulas, and macros.
  • CPA license.
Education

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Accounting or related field.

TS/SCI with FS Poly.

Security Clearance Required

TSSCI - Full Scope Poly.

Travel
