Location: Remote position available for candidates residing within 50 miles of Miami or Tampa, Florida.
The Healthcare Management Associate I is tasked with delivering essential non-clinical assistance to the Medical Management and/or Operations/Case Management teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide information regarding network providers and general program details upon request.
- Serve as a communication bridge between Medical Management and/or Operations and various internal departments.
- Maintain and regularly update tracking databases.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and document all relevant actions.
- Responsibilities do not include conducting any utilization management review activities that necessitate the interpretation of clinical data.
- Engage with members and providers as necessary.
Minimum Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with a minimum of one year of relevant experience or a combination of education and experience that provides an equivalent background.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Familiarity with managed care or Medicaid/Medicare is highly desirable.
- Candidates should possess strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, along with problem-solving, facilitation, and analytical abilities.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is preferred.
- Knowledge of Excel is advantageous.
- A solid background in customer service is preferred.
