Stationary Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Stationary Engineer to join our team at Sutter Health. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of our building and grounds, as well as related fixed and portable equipment and installations.

• Perform general maintenance and repair tasks, including plant operation and maintenance, and preventive maintenance.
• Inspect systems and buildings to detect existing or potential problems.
• Analyze situations and develop effective courses of action.
• Read and understand blueprints.
• Perform arithmetic calculations as required by the job.
• Maintain records and prepare reports.

• Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.
• HS Diploma or equivalent education/experience.
• EPA universal CFC certification within 90 days.
• 2 years recent relevant experience.

• Computer skills and building automation systems experience.
• Accuracy, attention to detail, ability to organize/prioritize work.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Ability to read, write, and speak the English Language.

Pay Range: $50.35 to $57.89 / hour.
