Job Description
At Sustainable Talent Limited Liability Company, we are seeking a skilled HR Compliance Specialist to support our client's HR Global Compliance and Immigration team. As a full-time contract position based out of Santa Clara, CA with remote options, this role offers competitive compensation based on experience, with full benefits, PTO, and an amazing company culture.

This is a key opportunity for an experienced professional to make a significant impact in supporting both U.S. and International compliance programs. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of current HR Compliance and Immigration requirements and remain abreast on new developments.

The Role:
  • Administer HR compliance onboarding programs, including background check review, deemed export review, I-9 review, and assist with management of general compliance programs, including workers compensation, compliance trainings, and unemployment claims.
  • Routinely engage with internal legal teams and external vendors on government requirements for abovementioned programs.
  • Craft internal guidelines, procedures, and communication for compliance programs.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on I-9/E-Verify compliance, deliver internal training on I-9, and audit weekly I-9s for new hires.
  • Coordinate and maintain compliance-based reporting in accordance with established deadlines.
  • Track appropriate Government Contract clearance.
  • Understanding of Data Privacy and GDPR regulations is a bonus.
  • Confidentiality and discretion are of utmost importance.

Requirements:
  • 4-5 years of HR/Compliance experience.
