While previous experience in a medical office or eyecare setting is beneficial, it is not mandatory. We provide comprehensive training for candidates who possess a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and a genuine desire to assist others.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Guiding patients in selecting frames that complement their facial features, lifestyle, and prescription needs, as well as advising on suitable lens types and materials.
  • Educating patients on effective eyelid and eye care practices, recommending supplements for eye health, and explaining in-office therapies to enhance vision.
  • Addressing prescription discrepancies, ensuring proper fit of new glasses, and performing minor repairs.
  • Consistent cross-training opportunities for professional development.
  • Creating a welcoming atmosphere for patients upon their arrival.
  • Reviewing and organizing patient medical records for accuracy.
  • Handling incoming calls with a friendly demeanor, taking messages, and reaching out to patients as needed.
  • Assisting with office opening and closing procedures.
  • Understanding and adhering to patient privacy regulations.
  • Supporting pre-testing, documentation, and troubleshooting to facilitate successful appointments.
  • Managing inventory, including ordering and processing shipments.
