Position Overview:
As a Seafood Clerk, your primary focus will be on ensuring exceptional customer service and satisfaction. You will be responsible for maintaining a clean and well-organized seafood service area, including storage and preparation zones, as directed by management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet and engage customers as they enter the seafood department, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the seafood area to uphold product integrity and guest safety.
  • Regularly stock the service counter while adhering to proper product rotation procedures.
  • Efficiently wrap seafood products, ensuring consistency in presentation.
  • Accurately label products, confirming correct pricing and weight.
  • Ensure all seafood items remain fresh and safe for customer consumption.
  • Adhere to the daily work schedule as assigned by management.
  • Follow management guidelines for maintaining a fresh seafood counter.
  • Perform additional tasks as requested by management to support operations.
Qualifications:
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical capability to perform duties, including standing, bending, lifting, and walking.
  • Ability to lift items weighing up to 100 lbs. to a height of 4 feet regularly.
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and completing company forms for sales reporting.
  • Ability to work in controlled temperatures for extended periods.
  • Open to receiving feedback and coaching from supervisors regarding performance.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team.
