Key Responsibilities
  • Advocacy: Lead all aspects of federal and state advocacy activities, including advocating on behalf of the association with government officials, coordinating with other associations, and engaging members in advocacy efforts.
  • Board of Directors: Serve as primary liaison with the board, including preparing and presenting the annual operating budget and plan, providing regular financial and operations updates, and coordinating with the nominating committee to recruit new board members.
  • Membership: Oversee the development and execution of quality member programs, including events, and develop initiatives to support recruitment of new members.
  • Operations: Oversee the operations of the association, including hiring and managing staff, ensuring adherence to association bylaws, and managing finances.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of association or industry experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of public policy, regulatory issues, and management.
  • Experience in budgeting and financial management.
  • Ability to travel as needed for meetings and events.
