Tax Supervisor

At Crete Professionals Alliance, we're seeking a highly skilled Tax Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our tax practice, you will play a vital role in shaping our tax strategy and providing exceptional service to our diverse clientele.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise the preparation and review of complex individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns.
• Provide strategic tax planning advice to minimize client liabilities and enhance business growth.
• Conduct thorough tax research and create detailed technical memoranda on a variety of tax issues.
• Analyze financial statements and ensure accurate tax provision calculations.
• Collaborate with clients to gather essential information and resolve their tax-related inquiries.
• Manage and coordinate tax audits, ensuring smooth communication with tax authorities.
• Mentor and develop junior staff, offering guidance and support to enhance their skills.
• Stay current on tax laws, regulations, and industry trends to provide clients with the best solutions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a Master's in Taxation is highly preferred.
• CPA designation or equivalent is required.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in public accounting or tax services, focusing on complex tax issues across various industries.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• A proactive approach to client service and a strong commitment to professional development.
